Summary
Yoshi takes the center stage, while Mario becomes a lil baby. Considered a stone-cold platforming classic, that is rarely and accurately implemented correctly in its ports. The pixel art and FX chip effects are exceptional.
Acquisition
I bought Super Mario World bundled with Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island off Goodwill's auction site. This was right as I was easing into collecting a few SNES staples. I really just wanted Yoshi's Island.
Memories
I don't have many memories with the first Yoshi''s Island. My memories mostly come from Yoshi's Island DS. My affection for this game comes from the consensus this game is iconic. One I am happy to have in my collection.
