Back of Box

Developer: Nintendo R&D1
Publisher: Nintendo
Platform: Game Boy Advance
Release: February 9, 2004
Summary
A complete remake of Metroid using Metroid Fusion assets for the Game Boy Advance. It also includes a bonus epilogue chapter where the Zero Suit was introduced, hence "Zero Mission." I still think this is the slickest Metroid game and it is one of the great remakes of all time.
Acquisition
My aunt bought it for me as a birthday present in a Target. I was super into the box art and was totally sold. I'm not sure if this was before or after I discovered Metroid Prime.
Memories
I remember being infatuated with this game. Exploring every nook and cranny. Revealing in the Metroid exploration formula. This truly is a perfect game for the GBA. I don't recall how I learned about the game or even became interested. Advertising must have worked somewhere along the way.
I do remember finding the Nintendo Power Player's Guide at a retro shop in South Carolina while visiting my wife's family. It was in pristine condition alongside a Wind Waker and Thousand-Year Door guide. The TTYD one was still sealed. I snagged all of them up.
